Battle of the Brains
Battle of the Brains is this Friday. It starts after school, and you can register at the door friday, until 2:50pm. Pre-registering guarantees your group a table, but registration is available at the door. Teams can be up to 5 people of any combination of teachers and students. The cost is $5 per team and all the money goes to a charity that the winning team will choose. It should be an exciting competition and we can't wait to see everyone Friday. Cupcake Crusaders
There will be a meeting next Tuesday, at 7:10 in Mr.Demko's room. We will talk about having our next fundraiser at conferences, so we hope you can make it to the next meeting.
Model UN
There will be a short Model UN meeting this Wednesday after school. Also congratulations to anyone who participated in the UMMUN conference this past weekend, especially those who won awards.
Humanitarian Club
Students interested in participating in the Humanitarian Club's event volunteering at Forgotten Harvest on Saturday, January 24th should attend a mandatory meeting Thursday, January 24th in room 201. You will need to sign up, fill out a waiver and get directions in order to participate. Other clubs are welcome to attend this event and service learning hours will be given to participants.
Think Pink
There will be an important Think Pink meeting this Thursday, January 21st in the Media Center at 2:40. There is a lot to discuss so please attend this meeting if you are available.
Scheduling
Attention 9th, 10th, and 11th Graders. You were given the Scheduling worksheet on Monday, January 13th during your 1st hour. Remember your worksheets need to be turned in to the counseling office by Monday, January 27th. Please turn them in early if you are finished.

Students please pick up your PSAT results from the Mrs. G and Mrs.Washington in the Media center.
There is a practice ACT class that is offered at North for free. This class is aimed at Juniors but is available for any grade that wished to take it. Talk to Mrs. G in the Media Center if you would like to take advantage of this valuable offer.

For all Girls interested in playing tennis this spring, there will be an informational meeting after school in Mrs. Rust's room (room 211) on Wednesday, January 22nd.
Junior Board
Junior Board will be having an Ice Skating fundraiser on January 25th at the Farmington Hills Ice Arena. Admission is only $7.
Gaming Club
The Mario Cart Tournament is going on next Wednesday the 23rd. The refundable $5 entry free is due by next Tuesday. If you have your own controller you should bring it, and both Wii and Gamecube versions can be played.
OSTC
There will be an Oakland Schools Technical Campus open house on Thursday, January 23rd from 5:00-8:00 pm on 1000 Beck Road in Wixom. There will also be an OSTC presentation on Friday, January 24th during 4th hour. Sign up with Mrs. G in the Media Center if you have any questions.

Get ready to go back in time with the Student Senates 80's themed dance. The dance will take place on February 8th and will start at 8:00 and go until 11:00. There will be a mix of 80's and modern music as well as live performances. If you are interested in performing talk to Ms. Nafso in room 903.
